Travel Latvia with Madi, first stop - Valmiera,
a beautiful city in northwest of Latvia, with Gauja river running through! Not only this city has a fascinating night live, because of the young population of the city, mostly because of the very popular University "Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences". This is considered to be a student city.
But also this city has many historic treasures - St Simon's Church of Valmiera was built on a steep bank of the River Gauja in 13th century. It is one of the well known churches of the city, located in the very center, with a beautiful view tower to overlook the city.
